Virtual Reality also serves a greater purpose by making art available to blind and visually impaired people. NeuroDigital Technologies have been developing gloves, enabling users to feel VR. With the collaboration of Leontinka Foundation and the National Gallery of Prague, they came up with the art exhibition “Touching Masterpieces” in Prague. The head of Nefertiti, the Venus de Milo, and David by Michelangelo are the three masterpieces that were replicated in the virtual space. This project is the first VR experience which enables blind people to “see”, with gloves and not a headset. For more details on this amazing project check out the video! The Virtual Techy
